Approach
Examples
-
How will we compete?
-
Produce machinery and equipment for cars that exactly meets the customers’ requirements plus at the same price level, be better in certain quality aspects than the competition and focus on cost.
-
Help our customers to reach their business objectives through minimizing their total operational costs (total machinery acquisition costs, total costs linked to switching between different materials produced, increase in productivity)
-
Make it easy to buy our products (easy identification of products, easy to conclude a contract)
-
Sell other products.
-
How will we make money?
-
Produce the strategic components only (i.e. buy modules)
-
Move ‘Kick Point’ as close as possible to the customer (to shorten the total lead time and to minimize the total production costs)
-
Sell any free capacity.
-
How will we conduct our business?
-
Sell machines through the network of selected agents
-
Organize without functional barriers, built on the process principles
-
Pass production of non-strategic items to suppliers (i.e. partnership with selected suppliers).
-
Are we a good buy?
-
Offer employees interesting work, an attractive salary, and a nice working place.
-
Offer the community job opportunities, taxes, sponsoring certain activities (environment, arts, sport)
-
Offer suppliers common purchase and components (i.e. modules).
-
How do we describe our work environment?
-
We are a successful company with a long tradition in XX technology, operating globally and we are an important part of ZZ Machinery Systems, because of our competitiveness in terms of costs, profit and satisfaction of customers needs.
